Optical Lab is a specialist ophthalmic glazing laboratory. For many years, our customers have been opticians who use our laboratory to make the spectacle lenses that they then sell on to you.

By coming direct to us you are bypassing the extra charges that opticians place on optical goods - so now you will only pay wholesale prices.

Although we can trace the lab back to the 1930s, in its present format our glazing workshop was established in 1999, and we have made over 60,000 pairs of spectacles. Our technicians are fully qualified and only use the most up to date equipment.

We ensure all the spectacles supplied conform to British Standards.

Optical Lab is affiliated to an optometry practice where we have fully qualified ophthalmic opticians who are happy to answer any queries that you may have.

All of our prescription glasses are made to order. Please allow 7 working days for delivery.

We do not send goods to addresses outside the United Kingdom

RETURNS POLICY

What if they don’t fit or I don't like the glasses?
Our aim is to supply you with spectacles which you are delighted with. We therefore offer a 28 day 'no quibble' refund or replacement service. Simply send the glasses back to us within 28 days with details of your name, address and explanation of what is wrong. We will replace the glasses, or give you a refund for cost of the glasses (less postage costs). Please use Recorded Delivery mail to return items.

AVAILABILITY
All items are offered subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order
Upon placing an order you will receive an automated email setting out the details of the order and allocating an order number.

Accuracy of content

Opticallab.co.uk has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available or we are unable to supply within any time scales given. The dimensions and specifications given are as accurate as we have been able to ascertain. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor settings, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

Delays

On rare occasions, for reasons beyond our control, there may be a delay in dispatching your goods beyond the confirmed dispatch date. We will, wherever possible, keep you informed should this happen. Our liability for delays, errors and omissions, in this instance, is limited to the value of the goods only and not for any consequential loss.

Any delivery delays caused by carriers, industrial action or any other reason, are beyond our control.

Cancellation right

Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. Goods must be returned unused, unworn and undamaged.

Exclusions of liability

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provisions of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Use of this website from outside the UK

Those who access this site from locations outside the United Kingdom are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Law, jurisdiction and language

This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.
